The Julies

About the Julies:

The Julies met about 25 years ago, back when they both got their MFA's from Georgia State and were in a performative public artist group making subversive art in downtown Atlanta. In the streets before sunrise, wearing painter's suits and pig snouts, they stuck vinyl lettering on empty storefront windows announcing fabulously imaginary new businesses and amenities for the neighborhood, like
Coming Soon: Free Daycare.

We stayed in touch throughout the years and found ourselves on the same dance floors in 2018-19. Then the pandemic hit and when Julie S took her 5Rhythms classes online, Julie P danced with her. And when Julie P took her SoulCollage classes online, Julie S made art with her.

Fast forward to late June 2024... We had talked long enough about creating something together were ready to make it happen. We got on the phone, plotted it out and a week later announced a workshop for August in Vermont. People came! And they loved it, so here we are.

About Julie Stuart:
Julie has over two decades of experience as a consultant & facilitator of emergence who works with organizations and individuals to navigate complex change, imagine new ways of being and create strategies forward from collective wisdom using deep dialogue, large-scale visual mapping and embodiment practices. She designs and guides transformative workshops which explore the intersection of sensuality, intuition, art and movement. She is a certified teacher of the 5Rhythms® created by Gabrielle Roth and of the Non-linear Movement method created by Michaela Boehm. Julie spends as much time as she can in her painting studio, on dance floors, and sailboats because the ocean is her lifelong soulmate. Her work is online at www.juliestuart5rhythms.com
